In terms of chemical resistance, general fluorinated rubber can not be applied to ethers, amine compounds, ketones, oxidants, organic solvents, fuels, acids, bases and other environments, perflurane seals can show its excellent stability, almost all chemicals have excellent resistance.
In swelling experiments, chemical attacks can destroy ordinary rubber molecular chains or Bridges, resulting in volume expansion, resulting in O-rings and sealing parts grooves that do not match. Perflurane seals can withstand attacks of up to 1800 + chemicals. After six months in a mixture of toluene, acetone and dichloromethane, the perflurane seal has barely changed in volume, while the other rubber has been severely deformed.
In terms of high temperature resistance (based on the compression deformation test results such as JIS K6301), the perflurane seal ring can also maintain the elastic characteristics of rubber at 327oC high temperature. In JIS K6301 compression permanent deformation experiment, when the rubber material loses its elasticity under heat, the deformation value will increase, which means that the sealing performance is reduced, fluoroprubber and other products are at 240oC, the deformation rate rises sharply with time, and the compression permanent deformation of perflurane sealing ring is always kept below 50%. This proves that perflurane products can also maintain good elasticity at high temperatures.
In addition to excellent chemical resistance and high temperature resistance, the perflurane sealing ring also has uniformity and no surface penetration, cracking and pinholes. These features can improve sealing performance, extend operation cycle, and effectively reduce maintenance costs.
